As those who know me well will confirm, I don't often wear short sleeves..but there are times when you just have to. Embarking on a trip to the Galapagos when even the January temperatures are very warm, short sleeves are sensible.

This fabulous design - made with linen - bears a Hammerhead shark design, which seemed like a good omen ahead of my trip, as I was very keen to see one!

The brand is GARUA, made and sold only in the Galapagos islands themselves.

The sharks are screen-printed whilst the logo is embroidered, giving the shirt a ncie upmarket feel to it.

Sadly, whilst it looked amazing, it didn't help me see a hammerhead, even if my partner Jane did. I was able to swim with white-tipped and black-tipped sharks, but the bizarre looking Hammerhead managed to evade me.

I'm tried contacting GARUA, as there range includes a number of other very appealing designs....so watch this space.
